■Objective: To create a new standard of food that is friendly to the earth and our bodies
According to a United Nations summary, the world's population is expected to grow to nearly 10 billion in 2050, and the sustainable supply of food for that many people to live healthy lives is a global challenge.
Currently, many food tech ventures are emerging in Singapore, Malaysia, India, and other Asian countries to support a sustainable food industry.
SFA aims to build the foundation for a sustainable food industry for the next generation by combining the new ingredients created by these ventures with the technologies of Japanese food-related companies. SFA has decided to hold the SFC with the aim of building the foundation for a sustainable food industry that will lead to the next generation by combining the new ingredients produced by these ventures with the technologies of Japanese food-related companies.
By leveraging the strengths of major companies, venture companies, and start-ups, and by sharing the visions and perspectives of all involved, we aim to create a venue for new relationships that will lead to the start of business co-creation and joint development.
SFA plans to hold SFCs in ASEAN countries on a regular basis, with the aim of creating a movement in which Southeast Asia and Japan can work as one team to solve food issues in Asia and the world.
