■Introduction to Fruit Meats

Fruit meat is a sustainable alternative meat made from jackfruit.

Sustainable Food Asia is the only company in Japan that imports and sells fruit meat developed by IraNoah, a company based in Singapore and Malaysia, with the aim of solving the problems of jackfruit waste and the resulting environmental destruction in the Kalimantan region, as well as the health issues caused by high-calorie foods in Southeast Asia. Sustainable Food Asia is the only importer and distributor of fruit meat in Japan in cooperation with IraNoah.

Fruit meat is made by upcycling jackfruit, which would otherwise be thrown away, into a completely different product called abutment. We will be selling tacos made with this fruit meat at this event.
