Sustainable Food Asia, Inc. held Sustainable Food Camp 2025, a sustainable food event from Asia, at Resorts World Awana in Genting Highlands, Malaysia, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

A total of 97 companies and 191 participants from a total of 9 countries attended the event. Participants came from a diverse range of backgrounds, including major food manufacturers, start-ups, university researchers, government officials, and venture capitalists, and under the theme of "Future Foods: Innovating Today, Sustaining Tomorrow," a variety of programs were held to explore ways to solve issues related to environmental improvement, health access, and social responsibility through food. Participants were able to experience cutting-edge food tech at the tasting and exhibition booths, and actively exchanged information on the theme of "food of the future" beyond the boundaries of companies and countries.

In the opening ceremony, Mr. Takayuki Shikata, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Malaysia, who endorsed the purpose of this event, said, "It takes awareness and effort on the part of every individual to spread the concept of sustainable food. I hope that the companies gathered at this event will share their efforts beyond national borders and expand co-creation to solve food issues for the next generation.
