MUSASHINO UNIVERSITY X MEGUMI CHAN MENU PROJECT POPUP AT SUSTAINED OMUSUBI

On March 27 and 28, we held a POPUP Restaurant by elementary school students at "Sustaina Omusubi" in Toranomon, run by Sustainable Food Asia Co!
Fifth graders from Hoya Daini Elementary School in Nishitokyo City explored local issues and contributed to the development of the city by developing a "Megumi-chan Menu" using vegetables grown in the city!
The students deepened their study of "entrepreneurship" in cooperation with students of Musashino University's Entrepreneurship Management Course (EMC), and were able to actually sell their products at Sustained Omusubi Store this time.

The elementary school students, who experienced everything from menu development to sales, seemed very excited each time. ‼︎
On the day of the POPUP, many customers came to the store, and it was sold out. The principal of the school visited us in person, and both the students and teachers were very happy to have had such a wonderful experience in the middle of the city.

Sustena Omusubi would like to continue to actively tie up with initiatives related to sustainability and regional development!
