Sustainable Food Asia K.K. ("SFA"), in collaboration with Urban Renaissance Agency ("UR Urban Renaissance Agency"), has opened a new facility "Sustainable Food Lab" on September 10, 2024 as the second step in promoting open innovation in the Shinbashi/Toranomon area, in cooperation with Nittetsu Kowa Real Estate Co. Ltd. on September 10, 2024. The facility, which aims to build a sustainable "food of the future" by bringing together startup companies that take on the challenge of solving social issues in the food area and growing together, consists of two spaces: an open kitchen space (1st floor) for test marketing and pop-up stores, and shared offices (4th floor) to promote interaction among startup companies and support their sales activities. On September 30, 2024, members of the New Business and International Group, New Business and Food Industry Department, Minister's Secretariat, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries visited us and held an opinion exchange meeting.
This time, we exchanged opinions about new initiatives and aims of SFA.
