About us

Sustainable Food Asia was established in 2022 as a joint venture between CarpeDiem and Liverness
. With the vision of "creating a new standard of food" that is kind to the earth and our bodies,
we work with not only Japanese companies but also overseas start-ups, especially in Asia,
to support the development of sustainable food ingredients and alliances, and
to organize events to build and foster community.

In November 2022, we imported a new ingredient from "jackfruit", "fruit meat", from
Malaysia, and developed and launched the first menu in Japan.

Since 2023, we have been operating the "Sustainable Food Museum"
, a showcase of companies and products
developing various sustainable foods at the Shintora Hut located in Toranomon, where you can learn about various cutting-edge "foods" and eat them at the same time
"Sustenamusubi" has been launched.

Sustainable Food Museum will relocate
and reopen in February 2025 with an expanded and expanded reopening. It operates daily as a community café where you can experience more sustainable food
and meet 100 domestic and international food and agri-tech companies
.
